“There is no better than adversity. Every defeat, every heartbreak, every loss, contains its own seed, its own lesson on how to improve your performance next time.” — Malcolm X
What makes someone inspirational? Their achievements? Their charisma? Their ability to make you feel or compel you to act? Inspiration comes in many forms and from many people, and often times is found in unexpected places. It can come from the sayings of a civil rights leader or from the kindness of a stranger, from the people that make history or from those that simply make their mark your own personal history. In fact, you might be the one that is the source of someone’s inspiration and never even know it.
We are all just humans trying to make it in this world, to grow, to live a life worth remembering. Growth only comes from trying, from learning, from stumbling yet continuing. Even the most iconic people had their struggles and second-guesses but what makes them memorable is their persistence in overcoming life’s hurdles to help make their world better.
— Malcolm X
No doubt each of us will have our own adversity to overcome, but in doing so we blossom into the person that could be, into our best selves. We all draw inspiration from someone, so never hesitate to be kind and sincere to your fellow human; you never know when you might be the inspiration that gets them through the day and to grow a little more.

“Don’t be in a hurry to condemn because he doesn’t do what you do or think as you think… There was a time when you didn’t know what you know today.”
